01 Jul Cardiologist Check-up Today
We saw Colleen’s cardiologist today, who did an echocardiogram to check progress. We had hoped for an “all clear” but some fluid still remains around the heart. It is BETTER than the last one on June 19 and for that we are grateful. She has had some on & off symptoms over the last couple of weeks, so the report wasn’t surprising. She is already on the next lower dose of prednisone and will continue to taper off over the next few weeks. We’ll see the cardiologist again on August 5 for the next echocardiogram.
