21 Dec Great Day
Started the day late for a breakfast with with my Dad, Jonathan, Colleen’s Dad, Grandpa Bill and my nephew Matt at Firehouse Cafe. Great food, great fun and great company.
After breakfast, pickedĀ up my Mom. We went to the grocery store to get supplies for Mom to make her legendary Hungarian Goulash. When I dropped her off at the house, off I went to church for our upcoming Christmas Eve Celebration rehearsals.
The rehearsal gave me goose bumps. SERIOUSLY! If you are part of NewHeart, who are you bringing? Because this chance for them to hear the truth about Christmas and Who Jesus is cannot be missed by those God has placed in your life! And Christmas Eve is such a natural open-hearted time that so many respond to the invitation to ask Jesus to make a difference for them this season.
Tonight, we had dinner with my parents around the Hungarian Goulash, and it was heart-growing and life-giving to me. We need our families. There’s sure a lot behind that, but we need our families.
I also spent some time reviewing my Mom’s personal story. She is going to share her testimony tomorrow as the message of the morning. Her story is amazing. I’ll link to where you can find it this week if you want to hear it.
Now I’m whipped. A lot still left to do and a short time to do it in. Good night and God Bless!
