16 Mar “Journey Inside” Begins!
It’s 8:30 am and Colleen and I are at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. We left home at 5:00 am. At 8:00, I swallowed the camera for my capsule endoscopy.
As you can see in these pictures, they even had it hooked up to the “real-time viewer” so I could see the camera in operation.
Right now we’re in the cafeteria. I go back at 10:00 for them to check it and be sure the camera has made its way into the small intestine. Then, I’m free to wander around, maybe see a movie, whatever.
Since Colleen had to work yesterday and I wasn’t feeling very well, our anniversary day wasn’t much together. Maybe today will be a better opportunity to just be together.
I conclude this “journey inside” at 4:00 pm, and am then free to drink and “eat”, whatever that means for how my stomach feels. Maybe some chicken noodle soup or something.
Enjoy the pictures, but be forewarned, some of them may be graphic!
More later as I am able!
