We were ALMOST home! Set to take a cab to the airport at 9:30 am. But Colleen woke around 12:30 am with the same, but less intense, chest pain. She waited to let me know until 6:45 and we went straight to the ER, so glad to be literally right next door! They’ve run all the tests, and everything has come back OK, including the cardiac ultrasound, the telltale test for pericarditis.

They’ve decided to admit her at least overnite for observation and are following some med changes to see if they make any difference. We’ll see how she feels in the morning and go from there. And instead of flying to San Francisco like planned today, we’ll fly straight home, hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday. We’ll keep you posted if anything changes from here!
